Oracle Service Cloud ODBC Driver

Enable users to access, analyze and report on their enterprise data in Oracle Service Cloudâ„¢ with the SQL-based tool of their choice. Allow users full application functionality and real-time analytic capabilities. Light up features in BI clients by connecting to your Oracle Service Cloud data in a powerful, effective way.

Access your Oracle Service Cloud â„¢ from your favorite analytic applications and quickly turn data into actionable information. The Simba ODBC driver for Oracle Service Cloud provides standards-based access to Oracle Service Cloud allowing you to leverage common SQL skills to query Oracle Service Cloud data and avoid the need to learn custom APIs or query languages.

The Simba ODBC driver for Oracle Service Cloud provides stored procedures that you can use to create, view, modify and delete objects from an Oracle Service Cloud data source. Oracle Service Cloud stores data in structures (files and buckets) that do not follow the rules of data typing and structure that apply to traditional relational tables and columns. Because traditional ODBC toolsets might not support these data structures, the data needs to be mapped to a relational form. The Simba ODBC connector for Oracle Service Cloud uses schema tables to map the Oracle Service Cloud data to an ODBC-compatible forma. High-performance data access is achieved through Simba SQL Engine’s built-in Collaborative Query Execution (CQE) feature, which ensures that filter and aggregation workflows are passed directly to Oracle Service Cloud rather than being processed within a client application or intermediary system.

The Simba ODBC driver for Oracle Service Cloud enables Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, and reporting on data that is stored in Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC). The connector complies with the ODBC 3.8 data standard and adds important functionality such as Unicode, as well as 32- and 64-bit support for high-performance computing environments on all platforms.
