Last summer, Magnitude unveiled the “start of the next chapter of our journey to enable business users to harness the power of their data for rapid insights and real-time decisions” with the release of Magnitude Angles for Oracle (formerly Noetix) version 7.0.

That release represented a significant leap forward to solving the evolving challenges in managing Oracle EBS data with a purpose-built, cloud-ready reporting and analytics solution.

Today, we are proud to announce the next stop on our evolving journey with the release and general availability of Angles for Oracle 7.1 – a release that improves security, productivity and support for all customers – with a special emphasis on features that will enhance the Angles Hub experience and make migration to this centralized, collaborative portal easier, faster, and more secure.

New Features Available on
Angles for Oracle 7.1

  • Complete Oversight
Gain a single, streamlined point of access and improved visibility, control and collaboration of views and reports.
  • Faster Onboarding
Web-based interface that can be deployed either on premises or in the cloud. The modern platform delivers a number of significant advantages in administration and self-service capabilities, while also providing a foundation for a dynamically changing business through support of additional organizations for immediate reporting. New countries, regions, etc. are now available.
  • Easier Migration
No need to update existing on-premises views, or Cloud Analytics views. These are all supported. The platform is designed with a modern architecture to future proof deployments and is the basis of investment and integration for the Angles platform.

  • Security Enhancements
Integrated security replication between EBS and Angles. Security is managed via your EBS instance, and access to data is restricted based on row- and column-level data restrictions.
  • Certifications
Added support and certification for Oracle EBS 12.2.10.
  • Application Support
Support for a broad range of platforms and database technology to complement your existing technology investments, including Snowflake, Azure SQLDB, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and current Oracle ERP Releases.

  • Zero Downtime
Traditionally, modification of views has led to downtime, and a requirement for regeneration of those views (therefore, downtime). Angles for Oracle removes this barrier with no requirement to regenerate views, and therefore no system downtime after changes have been made.
  • Report Personalization
A self-service platform delivers on the promise of supporting report personalization, plus customization for business users. Enhancements supporting security, along with Descriptive Flexfields and Key Flexfields are provided for maximum customization support across your deployments.
  • Streamlined Upgrade
In addition to removing any requirement for downtime following changes to views, this release streamlines the upgrade process by removing downtime altogether.

These features and more are available now. Contact your Account Manger or Customer Support Manager for details.
