Function Definitions
Within ErgoEnterprise, vast amounts of human computer
usage data can be captured. Data capture is optional where you can
choose to capture only the data that's important to you, as you
determine within organizational policies.
While the data captured can cover virtually anything to do with the
human computer interface, we have assembled a basic list for you below.
Again, this data capture is optional and is determined by clients as
they use ErgoEnterprise.
1. Data Items
Keystrokes
– Key presses observed.
Corrections (BS + Del)
– Backspace and Delete keys pressed.
Stress/Fatigue Indicator
– Formula: 100 * (Correctionsp / Keystrokesp)
where p is the period being reported.
Typing Minutes
– Minutes where the minimum keycount was achieved as prescribed by the
“Settings Module”.
Mousing Minutes
– Minutes where the minimum mouse activity second count was achieved as
prescribed by the “Settings Module”.
Mouse Activity Seconds
– Seconds of mouse activity where the mouse moved or was clicked.
StretchTimers Given
– Number of StretchTimer Alerts provided to the user as prescribed by
the “Settings Module”.
ErgoSentry Starts
– Number of times ErgoSentry was started.
EMS Settings Cycled
– Number of times the User changed the ErgoSentry Settings within the
“Settings Module”.
Key L1 Alerts Given
– Number of Keyboard Level 1 Alerts provided to the user as prescribed
by the “Settings Module”.
Key L2 Alerts Given
– Number of Keyboard Level 2 Alerts provided to the user as prescribed
by the “Settings Module”.
Key L3 Alerts Given
– Number of Keyboard Level 3 Alerts provided to the user as prescribed
by the “Settings Module”.
Key L4 Alerts Given
– Number of Keyboard Level 4 Alerts provided to the user as prescribed
by the “Settings Module”.
Key L5 Alerts Given
– Number of Keyboard Level 5 Alerts provided to the user as prescribed
by the “Settings Module”.
Total Key Alerts Given
– Number of Keyboard Alerts provided to the user as prescribed by the

Hourly
– Directs the analysis to utilize hourly observations for a specific
column for each user.
Daily
– Directs the analysis to utilize daily observations for a specific
column for each user. This is the default when nothing is selected for
Period.
3. Function
Sum
– Directs the analysis to display the sum of the hourly or daily
observations for this column for each user.
Average
– Directs the analysis to display the average of the hourly or daily
observations for this column for each user.
Min
– Directs the analysis to display the minimum hourly or daily
observation for this column for each user.
Max
– Directs the analysis to add the hourly or daily observation for this
column for each user.
Count
– Directs the analysis to display the number of hourly or daily
observations for this column for each user.
St.Dev
– Directs the analysis to display the statistical standard deviation for
the hourly or daily observations for this column for each user.
Var
– Directs the analysis to display the statistical variance for the
hourly or daily observations for this column for each user.
4. Sort
Low
– Directs the analysis to display users in the analysis by this column
sorting from the minimum observation to the maximum.
High
– Directs the analysis to display users in the analysis by this column
sorting from the maximum observation to the minimum.
5. Time From
Directs the analysis to only consider
observations starting from, and including, this time of day for this
column.
6. Time To
Directs the analysis to only consider
observations up until, and including, this time of day for this column.
7. Date From
Directs the analysis to only consider
observations starting from, and including, this date for this column.
8. Date To
Directs the analysis to only consider
observations up until, and including, this date for this column.
9. Filter Type

display values for each user when the number that would have been
represented in this column for this user was less than Filter Value.
